So we've had to push our honeymoon around about-a thousand times (it started in Portugal and Spain, then moved to Portland for a week, and now we're settling for a few days in California because of mostly time constraints), and—boy—couldn't have had better timing to stumble across Vintage Chrome. So much inspiration (on hotels, typefaces, and furniture)! The Madonna Inn is pricey, but if it's good enough for Fred Flinstone, it's good enough for us.

MOOT on TED Talks
Never been a 4channer, didn't know much about what it did or who "moot" was, but this video is pretty interesting as are most TED Talks. The power of people amazes me everyday, good or evil—or simply benign. If you need more, define: MARBLECAKE (a.k.a. MARBLECAKE ALSO THE GAME). Word of the day "cabal."

Invitations, Skylab Letterpress

Nick Karn is pretty much the best guy around town. He really worked hard on these and they came out looking amazing. Better yet, Nick's boss—Bob Atkins—let me hang out with them all Friday afternoon. We listened to Drew Carey "my dick is so big" jokes and Tenacious D, and did things I would suspect a designer/mechanic mash-up two-some would do. Enjoy the invites to those of you who received them; Though designed by yours truly, they were crafted by the man above.

Welcome back.
It's been wa-ay too long. Lots changed, y'know? Graudated, working, getting paid (a blessing in these times). I've been meaning to post, but I'm so bad at this — especially lately. Anywho, this is worth a post. Plus when I tell y'all I want a dulcimer for a bridal gift, you'll know what I'm talking about. It will play a critical role in my new life as a wife, er something.
I've been listening to her a lot lately; Sean and I are leaving for the coast at the end of September, firstly to relive Sean's time in the Cascadia Forest (living out of a backpack in 90-foot tree sits), and secondly to rediscover the Bay Area, my family and HWY-101.
